Green Clean Solution
Selecting the right cleaning product is important when it comes to your commercial flooring. For superior and eco-friendly carpet cleaning, we use our proprietary Green Clean Solution; a commercial carpet cleaning detergent that contains crystal polymer additives to encapsulate soil.

Our Green Clean Solution dries faster than other competitive products, reducing overall cleaning time, and providing superior results. The solution dries into a powder that can easily be picked up by vacuuming, and contains a neutral pH level that prevents colours and fibers from fading. It has been tested by the Carpet and Rug Institute and awarded the CRI Green Clean Seal of Approval as a superior commercial carpet cleaning product. It is also recognized by the EPA’s Design for the Environment Program as an eco-friendly cleaning product.
Green Clean Spotter
Stains in your commercial carpeting can be a pain, but our proprietary Green Clean Spotter provides fast and effective carpet stain removal system. Using proper carpet stain removal techniques, our Green Clean Spotter can handle tough carpet stains and spots, even in the most high-traffic areas.

Eco-Friendly Carpet Disposal
We provide a one-stop carpet recycling program that is quick, flexible, and environmentally responsible. We can provide you with a comprehensive quotation, free of any hidden fees, and our certified staff can take care of everything. By removing your old flooring and arranging transportation to our dedicated recycling center, you can ensure that the material does not end up in a landfill.
We can accept and recycle virtually any carpet materials, from any mill, and bring them back to life in the form of new green-friendly flooring products, or convert them to energy; ensuring that no useful materials go to waste.
Carpet Recycled to Energy
This unique Canadian carpet reclamation program takes non-PVC carpets and combines them with municipal waste; producing industrial fuel pellets that act as an alternative energy source for coal. This conversion is achieved in an environmentally controlled facility with state-of-the-art equipment sourced from best-in-class vendors, virtually eliminating any environmental impact on the surrounding area.
These fuel pellets are approved for use in industrial commercial facilities that have received a special permit to use this alternative fuel source, and have been shown to emit less greenhouse gas upon burning than conventional fossil fuels.
Cradle-to-Cradle Carpet Recycling
Our cradle-to-cradle carpet recycling program drastically reduces the amount of raw materials used to manufacture new carpets, and prevents useable carpeting materials from ending up in landfills. The program begins with the use of raw materials to make a new product, at which point the product is purchase and installed into a commercial space.
Once the product has reached the end of its lifecycle, it can be recycled; breaking it back down into raw materials, and used again to make a new product. This process can be completed again and again, forever. It’s almost too good to be true, but it’s happening at Sands every day.
